Makin’ a Baby
Exhibited in the Soft Bites Animation Festival in the Fabric District of Los Angeles, this was my first experiment in animation. I created a self portrait using a mirror and then proceeded to age it. The work was inspired by a coworker’s tapes of George Karlin’s comedy, as well as conversations about reincarnation, images of abolitionist newspaper cartoons, and the sudden news that my sibling had adopted a child.
