Sitter Response (Audible): A selection of works from a series created in 2019. This series built on a previous series (2017-8) where volunteer sitters handwrote their responses to their portraits on the drawings themselves. Finding that the most revealing responses were spoken, but self censored in the process of writing, I began audio recording volunteer sitters with their consent.

All portraits were created from live drawing sessions with volunteer sitters, at the place of their choosing, over a shared meal, coffee, or beer that was my treat. Sound was recorded with permission of sitters.
